Saturnists - Demo 2020 (HUN/ENG)
A tavasz szerencsére igen sűrű jó koncertek tekintetében, ez érezhető a club-szkénában is. Nemrég adta koncertjét hazánkban az osztrák Saturnists. A bulira a Riffben került sor, ahogy a kiváló technikai személyzetnek köszönhetően rendkívül jól szólalt meg ez a sűrűen súlyos csapat.
Nem volt itt semmi humbug, post blackkel, enyhe screamo érzéssel átitatott sludge, mindez a death metal elektronfelhőjébe takaródzva.
Azért emeltem ki ezt a demót a munkásságukból, mert ezzel a két trackkel olyan szép végleteket állítottak fel, hogy az példaértékű.
Míg az YMIR exponenciálisan építkezve vonultatja fel a fenti stílusok legnagyobb tereit, a Pandora valami számomra egész más. Koncertjüket leginkább az YMIR hangulata vitte, óriási teret varázsolva a Riff kis barlangjába. A Pandora viszont olyan dolgokat nyitott meg, ami szerintem elég ritka a műfajban. Őszintén legalább egy tonna rock’n’roll van ebben a trackben. Amikor valaki ilyet tud villantani, számomra mindig szívmelengető. Érdemes figyelemmel követni ezt a csapatot, és holdudvarukat.
The spring has been loaded with great concerts and it could have been felt in the club-scene too. Saturnists from Austria has just played in Riff where the excellent technical crew helped a lot to support the heavy density of this band’s sound.
There was no humbug, post-black, a pinch of screamo sautrated with sludge all this covered in the elctroncloud of death metal.
I have highlighted on this demo because these two tracks had set up such extremities which are simply exemplary.
YMIR is building up exponentially, sorting the above mentioned styles’ soundscapes nicely, Pandora is something really different for me. The gig itself felted like YMIR’s extended mood, summoning a huge sound in Riff’s little cave. But Pandora has opened niches which are rather rare in the style. Honestly, there’s at least one ton of rock’n’roll in this track. If someone can write something like this, it’s always heartwarming. It is worth to pay attention to this band and their related acts.
